While on vacation in Baker, WV our shitzu was stung by a yellow jacket in her rear quarters and then inside her ear. We took her to Lost River Animal Hospital and Tnisha immediately saw her, removing the stinger. We were given clear instructions on how to treat her, symptoms to watch for and an action plan if she got worse. We all received kind care! Thanks to Tnisha at Lost River Animal Hospital for such excellent care.

Another dog, another stellar experience at Lost River Animal Hospital. Delilah needed a femoral head ostectomy. Cost here in N VA: $7000. I paid a fraction of that at LRAH. You will experience the nicest staff and the utmost competent care. They are God sent. I recommend anyone making the very beautiful , 90 minute drive to WV for your baby. It is worth it!!! Dr. Tina Klepinger is a highly skilled practioner. Wherever she is, I will follow her.

I have always had very positive experiances with everyone here. Dr Tina is very caring.. even to the point of telling me my dog should lose weight... They are a bit expensive, but maybe that is because this is the first time I've ever had a bigger dog... bigger dogs = more food and bigger bills!
